The writer Sheikh Kafumba Dukuly, II is a household name in the youth and students community in Liberia. He is a 1996 valedictorian of the Muslim Congress High School and a J.J.Roberts Scholarship fellow; a honored student from the University of Liberia with Bachelors in Biology, Political Science from A.M.E University; He received certificates in Conflict Analysis, Interfaith Mediation and Negotiation and Conflict Management from the United States Institute of Peace (USIP); A pharmacy practitioner and activist both in the student community and the national scene playing pivotal role in fighting the tyranny of exiled president, Charles Taylor and speaking against ills in society. He is a former national meet the challenge quizzer of both Muslim Congress and the J.J. Roberts Scholarship Students Association(JJRSSA). Former Senior Representative, Science College and  an astute stalwart of the vanguard Student Unification Party(SUP). Former Secretary General of JJRSSA and the National Scrabble Association of Liberia. Information Officer of the Liberian National Students Union(LINSU). A former Academic Coordinator and Coach of the debate and quizzing teams of St. Teresa Convent High School(STC) and also Instructor of High School Chemistry  at STC .  He also served as the Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Minister for Technical Services at the Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications. He is currently in the diaspora seeking to pursue a Masters in Environmental Resource Management.The writer is an avid reader of political papers, novels and loves playing scrabble and chess.
